The weekend has finally arrived.  We can sit back, relax and enjoy,  that is of course if you have the weekend off.  I won't be off though, I will be knitting up a storm .   I am not quite sure if it is considered work because I love knitting.  But, ask me again after I've knitted the fifth set of hand warmers.  I have so many cute color combinations  I want to tryout.

I think these colors look great together.  Hmm, wide stripes with grey and thin stripes with the contrasting color would look really cool. 

And, what about these colors? Aren't they fun too . I love the soft colors of the pink and white but the jade green makes it interesting.

 I've also been playing around with some cables and texture patterns.   They look really yummy!  I think you well love them.

What is your favorite time of the day?

My favorite time of the day is early morning.  Everything is so peaceful, quiet and still.  I love to stand outside inhaling and exhaling the fresh morning air wondering what the day holds for me.

Happy Monday

Well I hope everyone had a nice weekend.  I sure did.  I watched two really good movies and did some knitting while watching them.  The first movie I watched was the last Harry Potter film and Pirates of the Caribbean the most recent released one.  Both films I enjoyed very much.

 I finished the yellow stripped hand warmers as well as the cocoon neck warmer.   I really love the neck warmer. 

  I think the crocheted brooch gives it a Parisian chic look.  I am going to make one for myself but this one is listed in the So Eclectic shop. I am thinking grey but not sure about the color for the brooch. 

Currently, I am knitting some boot toppers.  I love the look of chunky socks or leg warmers with boots but not the bulk that goes with it.  Boot toppers are the best of both worlds.  You have the look without the bulk.    Look for them in the shop in the next couple of days.

Welcome

Bonjour, and welcome to the very first post for the  So Eclectic shop blog.  I can't believe that it is coming up on a month since I first opened.  It has really gone by fast.  Each week I have slowly but surely been adding more loot into the shop.    I have so many fun and exciting things that I plan to do.

Currently, I am finishing up on these pretty yellow and white striped hand warmers.  I thought it would be fun to knit with some bright cheery colors.  It has been so dull and dreary in the Midwest. I needed a little sunshine and the yellow in the hand warmers fit the bill.  I am hoping to have them in the shop tomorrow.  Also, I am going to start working on a chunky neck warmer tonight. The yarn is a super soft wool acrylic blend.  Right now, it looks like a cocoon but tomorrow it will be a warm and cozy neck warmer. 

If you have any suggestions as to things you might want to see in the future let me know.  I would love to hear from you.
